To proclaim the word of God in the Mass liturgy.
Activity / Explanation
Proclaim the Word of God using a strong public speaking voice, a commitment to continued improvement of speaking skills and dedication to practice and prepare during the week prior to proclaiming the Word of God. Training is available for new lectors at their convenience. Lector schedules take individuals' preferences into account whenever possible.
